Salaries
The Hospital conducts a regular
review of salary scales for all positions to ensure that they are
competitive and salaries details for vacant positions can be
obtained from your Recruitment Agent.

Salary Payment: |
|
|
Salaries are in Saudi Riyals (SR),
and are paid monthly in arrears through a local bank of the
employee's choice. The Hospital Finance Department will
assist new staff to open a bank account.

transfer funds overseas:

Conversion Rates:
The Saudi Riyal (SR) is a fully
convertible currency linked to the US$ at a fixed rate of:
US$ 1 = SR 3.75
Conversion to other currencies is variable according to

The Hospital will process a variety
of documents that are required for the conduct of your work and in
relation to government regulations for expatriate employees and
other visitors. These include your work visa, Hospital
ID Card, and Residence Permit (Iquama - pronounced Igama).
In order to expedite these processes you must bring the following:

opportunity to play, but the ground is very hard

Conservative clothes for off-duty
time - please remember that you are considered a guest in Saudi
Arabia and it is appropriate that you dress in accordance with
local culture and custom.
If you are taking any prescription
medication, please ensure that you bring a copy of the
prescription or a letter from a physician.

The Hospital provides all employees
with furnished accommodation that is equipped with basic items.
Staff also have access to recreational facilities that include a
Fitness Gym and Swimming Pool. We have asked some of
our current staff what they thought new employees should bring
with them and this is what they said:
Make sure your electric hair dryer
has dual voltage (the Hospital uses 110/120 v)
If you manicure your nails, bring
some nail-boards, they can be difficult to find locally
Swimming costume if you want to use
the pool or tan
Trainers and track suit or other
conservative sporting attire - there is an outdoor track for
jogging/walking
Tennis racket if you play the game,
but these can be purchased locally
For nurses, you should bring a pair
of white shoes
A cardigan, jumper or jacket for
wearing in the winter months which have similar weather to a UK
autumn

Arriving at the
Hospital |
|
|
The procedure on arrival at the
Hospital will vary depending on the time of arrival and the day of
the week. However, in general terms, after being
allocated to your accommodation, your first day will involve the
following:

Visit to the Recruitment Office
to review your Contract of Employment

Completion of arrival
documentation for Payroll, ID and Personnel Records in the
Manpower Department

Introduction to the Program

Uniform Issue
Your Job-orientation will be
arranged with your Department Head or Supervisor, and you will
be scheduled to attend a 2 day Hospital Orientation soon after
your arrival. |
