These pages are intended to give you an overview of the School,
its mission, facilities, resources, programme and activities,
staff and students. I hope the information and photographs will
give you a feeling for the type of school we are: a close-knit
staff and student body committed to the pursuit of high standards
and to the joy of learning.

The School delivers the British National
Curriculum programme of studies and the students take the Optional
and Compulsory Standard Achievement Tests (SAT’s) towards the end
of the academic year.
Arabic Language is taught as a first language
to Arab students and as a modern foreign language to non-Arabs.
Islamic Studies is part of the school curriculum for Muslim
students.

NAAFH
International
School
was purpose built in 1995 and offers modern
and extensive facilities for the children of King Khalid
Military
Compound
Hospital expatriate
employees. It is situated in its own campus
within the military compound. There is a
crèche for babies and toddlers and a nursery
for 3-4 year olds. Formal schooling starts
in Reception and continues through to Year
Eight (about 13 years of age). |

The Student Body

The students represent a wide cross-section of cultures and
nationalities, reflecting the international nature of the hospital
itself, which recruits medical staff from all over the World. |
