In-patient Nursing

The Hospital is organized in two main buildings that are linked by communication towers.   The front building consists of five levels of which the upper three contain the inpatient wards.

Male Wards consist of 1 medical and two surgical wards, and a VIP area.   There are twin observation rooms adjacent to each of the five nursing stations, but all other patient rooms are single occupancy.

Female Wards consist of a similar range to the Male Ward area, but with the addition of an Infectious Diseases Ward equipped with a reverse air-flow system.  The nursing stations in both the male and female ward areas are spacious and supported by substantial storage and other facilities.

Paediatrics & Ob/Gyn Wards are located on the second level of the Hospital and include Antenatal and Postnatal Wards, two Paediatrics Wards and a six-bed Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.  The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is also located on this level which is adjacent to the other critical care areas located in the rear building and linked by corridor to the ward areas.
